The town of Wakefield
is a residential suburban community situated
ten miles
northeast of Boston. Our location at the intersection of routes 93
and 128 (I-95) places us in the perfect location for commuters.
Boston's cultural center, championship sports teams, as well as the
seashore, retail shopping malls and employment centers are easily
accessible.
For those wishing to take public
transportation, there is a commuter rail (operated by the MBTA) with
very regular service to Boston. The town has two railway stations.
The town's
location provides a very good environment for business. Many
specialty stores and service businesses are located along Main
Street, North Avenue and in the Greenwood and Montrose sections. Two
fine office parks provide an excellent location for a wide range of
businesses. |
